Measures are conventional.

  • Understands the uses of convention-to secure communication, to facilitate reproduction etc.
  • Understands that length can be measured with units that are not conventional, indicated by use of unconventional units.
  • All length measures must be in conventional units, like inches or cm. Suggests that uses of other units would be wrong.
