12. Release the pressure of your finger to allow the meniscus to approach the calibration mark.

13. When the bottom of the meniscus is exactly even with the calibration mark, apply the pressure again to stop the liquid flow.

14. Remove any  hanging droplet of liquid by touching the tip to the side of the container.

15. Transfer the pipette to the container to be used.
