The Vanderbilt Institute for Global Health's Student Advisory Council is comprised of graduate and undergraduate students from various schools across the university.
The purpose of the Student Advisory Council (SAC) is to bring together diverse students interested in global health with the goal of fostering cross-disciplinary student networking and collaboration. Members of SAC are responsible for bringing the student perspective to the institute, especially with regards to student opportunities and experiences. SAC members serve on one of three committees, Case Competition, Global Health Alliance, or Symposium Committee and work to connect students to global health experiences and knowledge. We encourage all students to participate in the annual Case Competition and to connect with the Global Health Alliance through our weekly global health events email and Facebook page.
The Student Advisory Council maintains an extensive collection of student resources, including an opportunities database, global health courses, career guidance, and funding opportunities for your organization. Learn more »
