Conrad: Though the case may be that
genes determine intelligence, one cannot discredit environment. Intelligence cannot be absolutely defined.
If one measures a personÂ’s intelligence, to what end can it be said that that person
is intelligent--because they can solve calculus problems? The fact is, many people whose genetic
makeup may show that they have less intelligence than others do not have less
worth as human beings than their more “intelligent” counterparts.
