For International Students:

Vanderbilt's new on-line applications are very easy to use and are free of application fees. To access the electronic application and special instructions for international students, please go to: Vanderbilt Graduate School

We receive hundreds of international applications for the 20 - 25 total positions available. Since it can be very expensive for international students to apply to programs, we use a slightly different pre-screening procedure. First, if you use the on-line version, you are exempt from the application fee. In addition, our departmental admissions committee can make preliminary reviews of electronic applications based on the information provided by the student in the application. If there is sufficient interest in the application, then the student is contacted and original documentation such as transcript, GRE and TOEFL scores are requested.
