Taking Care of Each Other: Simple Preventative Measures to Prevent the Spread of Viruses at the Writing Studio
At the Writing Studio, we look forward to serving you and helping you achieve your writing goals in what remains of the spring semester.
As the student body returns from Spring Break, we will be asking all of our clients and staff to take the following simple measures known to help lower risk and prevent the spread of any virus at this time of heightened concern about respiratory illnesses.
We appreciate you helping us take care of each other and our wider community.
Handwashing / Sanitizing upon Arrival
Before arriving at the Writing Studio, we ask you to take a moment to wash your hands with soap and water at the nearest restroom or, as you arrive, to use the hand sanitizer made available at our front desk.
Stay Home When Sick (Online Appointments Available)
If you are ill and experiencing a fever or cough, we ask that you stay home and do not hold an in-person appointment.
To help encourage this preventative action, we are working to expand the availability of our online appointments. If you are making the wise choice to stay home, you can still request that an existing appointment be converted to an online appointment.
Normally, we ask for 24-hours notice with online appointment requests, but please know that in the case of illness we will do our best to respond to requests submitted with less notice, but immediate turn around is unlikely. If you have not received a confirmation message that your online appointment request has been fulfilled, it very likely has not. Please call the Writing Studio front desk at the appropriate location:
- For 1801 Edgehill, Suite 112: (615) 343-2225
- For 217 Commons Center: (615) 343-7722
