The 2025 Undergraduate Writing Symposium’s online program and schedule of speakers, which includes their bios and abstracts, is now available. To jump to specific parts of the event schedule, follow the links below.
- 2:45–3:30: Presenter Check-In
- 3:00–3:30: Being Human Showcase, Part 1
- 3:30–4:15: Welcome and Spotlight Panel
- 4:20–5:00: Concurrent Session 1, Panels A, B, & C
- 5:05–5:45: Concurrent Session 2, Panels D, E, & F
- 5:45–6:15: Being Human Showcase, Part 2 and Reception
All are welcome! Drop through for any portion you can attend:
- Come at 3:00 p.m. for light refreshments and the new Core 1010 Showcase, Part 1, a poster-session-like space to hear from first-year presenters about essays written for “Being Human” (A&S CORE 1010) in the fall.
- Join us at 3:30 p.m. for the event Welcome and opening Spotlight Panel, chaired by Elizabeth Meadows, Assistant Dean and Director of Undergraduate Education, College of Arts and Science.
- Two sessions of concurrent panels will follow at 4:20 p.m. and 5:05 p.m.
- From 5:45-6:30, all are welcome to the reception and Core 1010 Showcase, Part 2.
