Speaker Bio:
Dr. Eric Shinohara is Ingram Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Shinohara completed his MD and MSCI at Vanderbilt and his residency in radiation oncology at the University of Pennsylvania. Clinically, Dr. Shinohara specializes in malignancies of the genitourinary system and sarcomas. Dr. Shinohara’s research is focused on examining treatment related toxicities and disparities in care using big data as well as studying new uses for radiation therapy.
