Abstract:
Like other areas of medicine, technology continues to enable more accurate identification of patients for surgery, safer surgeries, quicker patient recoveries, and better overall outcomes.  In many cases, it has enabled avoidance of surgery all together.  The purpose of this talk will be to introduce people to a few of the high profile areas where technology is being developed for clinical application in Gynecology and to suggest and possibly brainstorm longer term areas where new technologies could make big impacts.
