ViSE affiliate students win SPIE Awards!

A number of ViSE faculty and student members participated in the SPIE Medical Imaging: Image-Guided Procedures Robotic Interventions, and Modeling Conference in San Diego, Feb 15-20, 2014.

Andrew Asman was a best student paper “all-conference” finalist at SPIE for his paper “Statistical label fusion with hierarchical performance models”  with Vanderbilt co-authors Alexander S. Dagley and Bennett A. Landman.

Rebekah H. Conley received an Honorable Mention for her poster titled “Image to physical space registration of supine breast MRI for image guided breast surgery” with a number of Vanderbilt co-authors: Ingrid M. Meszoely M.D., Thomas S. Pheiffer, Logan W. Clements, Jared A. Weis, Thomas E. Yankeelov and Michael I. Miga.
