Overview
In
the Pham group we develop molecular probes using small organic molecules and
colloidal materials for targeted imaging and theranostic applications.
Rationale design of fluorescence dyes, peptides, organic and inorganic
nanoparticles, surface modification, multimodal bioconjugation and
encapsulation are key operations in the lab. To tackle the complexity of
preclinical animal work, we also develop techniques for drug delivery across
specific boundaries and controlled release of vaccines employing the multimodality
and special nanoscale physics of nanoparticles.
