Overview
The advanced imaging PC is dedicated to image stack processing and analysis. The windows 10 system is equipped with a powerful GPU and CPU and enough RAM to meet your image processing needs without the overhead of a dedicated GPU cluster. The system has Fiji and Anaconda (python) installed as well as an active Amira license. Amira enables the visualization, processing and analysis of complex biological and material systems in 3D. From segmentation, volume rendering and video animations, Amira has built in workflows and tools to get the most out of your 3D data set. One can export the rendered 3D volume and then 3D print the structure in one of 3D printers located in VINSE. The system is currently free to use on a first come first serve basis.
