Last fall, VINSE invited our community to participate in the NanoGuides Logo Design Competition, challenging you to craft a logo that captures the essence of our student volunteers. We are thrilled to congratulate Vikash Khokhar for his winning design! In addition to having his design featured on NanoGuides t-shirts, Vikash also received a $300 cash award.
The VINSE NanoGuides program celebrates students who are passionate about science outreach. Since its inception last fall, the program has welcomed over 40 graduate students, providing them with the opportunity to lead various VINSE STEM outreach activities. NanoGuides dedicate their time to inspiring the next generation of scientists and fostering excitement about the impact of nanotechnology on our lives.
Participants in the NanoGuides program receive training on VINSE tools used during outreach events, and they don’t need to be regular VINSE users. As a token of appreciation for their dedication, NanoGuides earn a VINSE 3D-printed collectible for each event they participate in and can achieve VINSE-branded apparel after participating in multiple events.
