The VINSE Technical Crew summer fellowship undergraduates will work directly with VINSE staff on cleanroom projects and activities critical to daily operations and that help expand the process capabilities and knowledge base available to researchers. Projects include building and testing microfluidic devices for biomedical applications, solar cell fabrication and testing for alternative energy research, and developing processes for conformal coatings of electronic and optical materials.
In addition to supporting daily cleanroom activities, this summer’s undergraduates will work on improving the technical and procedural guidance available to users of the VINSE cleanroom. They will gain expertise in multiple areas such as lithography mask design and fabrication, metrology, imaging, and process development.
VINSE is excited to welcome the following students to the 2023 Technical Crew program:
- Ella Dzialowski ’26 – Biomedical Engineering
- William Ford ’25 – Neuroscience & Medicine, Health & Society
- Penelope Fries ’25 – Chemical Engineering
- Eliam Chang ’26 – Biomedical Engineering
