VINSE is seeking faculty nominations for the both the VINSE Best Graduate Student Research Publication Award & the VINSE Best Collaborative Publication Award. The Best Graduate Student Publication award will come with a plaque, $1,000 cash prize, and an opportunity to present at NanoDay. The Best Collaborative Paper award comes with a plaque, $500 cash prize, and celebratory dinner for all contributing authors.
Eligibility requires:
- work features one or more of VINSE’s six research thrusts (nano bio/medicine, nano computation, nano electronics, nano energy, nano materials and/or nano optics)
- first author must be a current graduate student (registered in fall 2022 semester)
- publication in print between June 1, 2021 and July 31, 2022
VINSE faculty can nominate papers to be considered for these awards, please complete the nomination form by 5 pm on Friday, September 16. The nomination letter, which should be a maximum of one page in length and is an essential component of the evaluation, must clearly describe the content of the paper; highlight the contributions made by the lead author; and make a compelling case for the significance of the contribution and its impact on the field.
