Jul. 31, 2017—Janey Camp participated in the invitation only, 2-day NCAR Engineering for Climate Extremes Partnership workshop in Boulder, CO, in June with researchers and industry representatives from around the world discussing tools and data necessary to improve decision making under future climate projections. Workshop Theme: Pathways to Incorporate Weather and Climate Science into Decision Making.
VECTOR awarded a $1.2M contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers
Jul. 27, 2017—VECTOR was just awarded a $1.2M contract for 3 years with the US Army Corps of Engineers to look at inland navigation operations with considerations for extreme weather events and future climate changes led by Professor Janey Camp.

Jun. 15, 2017—Pam Hoover, PE, attended the closing reception for the 2016-2017 Center for the Integration of Research Teaching and Learning (CIRTL ) Tiered-Mentoring Program (TMP).
