Paper Published in the Journal of the Transportation Research Board by VECTOR Staff
The Journal of the Transportation Research recently published a paper by VECTOR’s Janey Camp, Craig Philip, Katherine Nelson, Miguel Moravec, Douglas Sheffler and Paul Johnson. The paper, titled “Utilizing Agent-Based Modeling to Evaluate Operational Impacts of an Incident and Possible Alternatives on U.S. Waterways” is based on a study for the United States Coast Guard where agent-based modeling was utilized to evaluate the impacts of a disruptive incident and alternative responses/actions on the inland waterway system.
The VECTOR team also presented the project at the Transportation Research Board’s annual meeting in January. The full presentation can be found here: TRB_USCG_Presentation_11Jan2020_FINAL (002).
