My primary research area focuses on computational genomics, where I employ AI-based methods to enhance variant detection in human genomes and to provide better undersanding of their potential implications in human health and disease. Additionally, I have delved into the application of deep learning technologies for simulating neuron activity. This research aids in understanding the underlying mechanisms of working memory development, shedding light on the intricate processes that contribute to cognitive function and learning. This interdisciplinary approach fosters a richer understanding of both fields and accelerates the translation of AI-driven insights into practical solutions, which align closely with the objectives of VALIANT.
