- Candidates may be faculty members or research scientists affiliated with an official academic or research institution. They may also have roles in industry, including for example those with a focus on research, translation, management, design, and/or policy.
- Connection to Vanderbilt:
- Candidates do not need to be currently affiliated with Vanderbilt University, although suitable connections could include:
- Current faculty members or research scientists at Vanderbilt
- Individuals affiliated with institutions within the mid-TN AI alliance
- Visiting scholars at Vanderbilt
- Professionals actively collaborating with Vanderbilt or serving as research advisors to Vanderbilt students
