Our lab is dedicated to advancing genomic and neuroscience research through computational and AI innovation. We specialize in the development of efficient and robust algorithms for genome reconstruction, variant detection, cell type clustering, integration, etc. We generate and benchmark new software to decode genomic big data and solve biological mysteries, relying on emerging technologies in the rapidly advancing fields of third-generation sequencing, single-cell sequencing, and spatial transcriptomics. The lab currently encompasses eight BME and CS PhD students. Our research has led to recent publications in Nature Methods, Nature Communications, Nature Computational Science, and Cell Genomics underscoring our commitment to pushing the boundaries of genomic exploration.
