At a time when some schools are banning ChatGPT in classes—concerned that students will lean too heavily on AI or use it to write papers for them—Vanderbilt has become a leader in integrating AI into academic work. Faculty are using AI in their research, as well as introducing it to students, teaching them how to use it as a tool and not a crutch.
