Student Spotlight: Omari Rivers
Today, we are highlighting senior Omari Rivers, who is the president of one of our three business fraternities on campus, Delta sigma pi!!
“Hi! My name is Omari Rivers, and I am a senior majoring in HOD from Conyers, GA. Throughout my time here at Vanderbilt, being the President of Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity, has been the most formative and incredible experience of my college career. Leading an organization with such diverse, thoughtful, and driven individuals has taught me the value of being a friend first. I have often found that people want to work with those they enjoy the company of, and DSP has brought me a community of unbridled support that has allowed me to believe in myself and achieve my goals. Leadership is never easy, but I have learned more from this organization than I could have ever imagined.
Going forward, the lessons I have learned in creating unique and beneficial relationships within DSP are guaranteed to help me navigate not only the workplace but life more broadly. After graduation, I will be working at Boston Consulting Group in Atlanta, GA, and I am sure that my time in DSP has made me well-equipped to thrive in all of my future endeavors.
