Gavyn McCall, M.S.
Clinical Practicum Trainee
Pronouns: he/him/his
I view intrapersonal life and health as encompassing three interconnected areas: physical health, mental health, and intellectual growth. By intentionally nurturing these aspects, we can move towards fostering meaningful positive change. While the methods to achieve this growth may vary across individuals, my goal is to act as a supportive partner, helping to clarify the path toward your mental health goals.
Gavyn is currently working towards his Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Tennessee State University. He received his B.A. in psychology from Auburn University and his M.S. in clinical psychology from Auburn University at Montgomery. In practice, he has had the opportunity to support youth and adolescent populations from underserved communities who are experiencing incidences of acute crisis, as well as experience with the administration of psychological assessments. He has also served similar populations in settings such as the public school system, juvenile observation homes, residential treatment centers, in community mental health, and in private practice.
In other areas of his life, Gavyn enjoys being active, gaming and learning Japanese for his future trip to Japan.
