Pronouns: she/her/hers
I want students to thrive as they pursue their passions and ambitions, fostering work-life balance, fulfillment, and well-being for every individual. I strive to provide person-centered and evidence-based care in a welcoming, supportive, and safe environment and to sustain effective partnerships between psychiatric services and campus resources.

Dr. Womer has served in clinical care of a range of conditions in various settings and diverse populations, medical education, clinical administration, and research during her nearly 20 years in academic medicine. She has longstanding interests in student health and early interventions to improve psychiatric outcomes. She obtained her B.A. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Washington University and her M.D. from the University of Connecticut. She completed residency training in General Psychiatry at Washington University and postdoctoral research training in chronic mental illness at Yale University.
Outside of work, she enjoys running, sunsets (sunrises if able to get going early enough), and exploring the city. When needing to retreat from the hecticness of life, she finds calm in nature, music, or a good book.
