Bicycles offer a convenient and eco-friendly mode of transportation on campus, promoting personal health and well-being while reducing environmental impact. Vanderbilt University provides various resources and facilities to support biking.
Some of our on-campus bike parking facilities and resources include:
- Explore our map highlighting covered and uncovered bike parking, bike repair stations, and shower facilities on campus.
- Vanderbilt offers an on-campus e-bike sharing program through a partnership with Spin. Learn more about the bike share program.
- Individuals with personal bicycles are encouraged to register their bikes with the Vanderbilt University Police Department (VUPD).

Vanderbilt Bike Racks
There are bicycle racks all over campus, as well as a number of shower locations and bicycle repair stations. These locations are found on the interactive map below.

Bike Share Resources
Vanderbilt has partnered with Spin to offer an on-campus e-bike sharing program. Learn more about the bike share program, providing options for riding both on and off campus. Additionally, Nashville's docked e-bikeshare system, BCycle, has two stations adjacent to campus for convenient access.

Reporting Bicycling Crashes
If you or someone you know has been involved in an accident on or near campus involving a bicycle, please report the incident to Vanderbilt University Police Department.
For non-emergencies, call 615-322-2745. For emergencies, call 615-421-1911 if you are on campus or 911 if you are off campus.
