Tell about a prototype you have developed (describe it for us). If you haven’t developed a prototype to date, what is your prototyping plan? Where will you start and what hypothesis will you be trying to test?

Ann and I developed a prototype workshop for one of Vanderbilt’s Alumni groups. It was in the form of a powerpoint presentation, and gave us an opportunity to test our pitching and training process. We received very positive feedback regarding engagement, and the usefulness of the information. Ann and I are still in the process of building out our other products and are mostly focused on our research and customer discovery. We have emailed a copy of our presentation to Deanna.

We are currently working on creating our own prototype by using the 3d printer at the Wondry but it is tough not being on campus. The product will be a rubber bottom with a sticky adhesive material but we need to find one that will not leave a residue on the bottom of your feet when you take the product off. Also, we want to make it completely recyclable and ecofriendly. We also do not want to make it so sticky at the part where your toes go so that they are not uncomfortable. We may want to also make them compactable so that they can fit in a dispenser or be carried easily without losing their shape.
