Patrick is the Co-Founder and President of Simpeo, an Insurtech Company and Professional Employer Organization (PEO). Patrick co-founded Simpeo to support the US domestic SMB ecosystem through workflow optimization, labor cost mitigation and risk transfer solutions. Patrick scaled Simpeo to $60m in ARR and successfully exited the organization in December 2022.

To support regional tech startups Patrick Co-Founded and is a General Partner at Mark Two Ventures, a Nashville based Venture Studio. Mark Two provides seed stage funding in addition to product, software development, and business strategy expertise to startups located in the Southeastern United States. Patrick is a partner at and was the former director of business development at Blink Health, a New York based pharmacy technology company. Blink’s technology allows patients, regardless of their insurance status, to transparently purchase medications online and pick them up at their preferred pharmacy. Blink Health is now one of the largest digital pharmacies in the United States.

Patrick spent his early career as a private equity associate at Black Pearl Capital. While at Black Pearl Patrick was engaged in a number of transactions and was responsible for identifying and structuring investment opportunities on behalf of the fund.

Patrick is an active member of Young Presidents Organization. Patrick has been married to his exceptional wife Margot Cooney for 8 years. They have three incredible children Wade, Stewart and Evelyn and currently reside in Birmingham, AL.
