Proficient in various software and tools, including the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, DaVinci Resolve, Studio Artist, Adobe XD, Adobe Spark, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, Adobe Dreamweaver, WordPress, and more, Kamaal possesses a diverse skill set that enables him to seamlessly blend music, visuals, and technology.

Currently serving as a Multimedia Music Producer at KM Entertainment, Kamaal has built a strong track record in developing music content using both traditional methods and AI generative software. His expertise extends to producing and directing videos for films, commercials, games, interactive presentations, podcasts, and websites. With advanced skills in mobile device development, graphic design, animation, motion graphics, and visual design, Kamaal crafts visually captivating multimedia experiences that leave a lasting impact.

In addition to his work as a music producer, Kamaal serves as an Innovation Mentor at The Wond’ry at Vanderbilt, where he guides and supports innovators across various industries. Collaborating with social ventures, nonprofits, and for-profit companies, he provides authentic feedback and connections to help aspiring innovators make informed decisions and succeed in their endeavors.

As a Bassist for the Funky Claude All Star Band at the 56th Montreux Jazz Festival, Kamaal has had the privilege of performing and recording with esteemed artists such as Shania Twain, Ray Parker Jr., Nathan East, and Ola Strøm. His contributions to the Claude Nobs Foundation’s festivities during the festival have added to his rich musical portfolio.

Furthermore, Kamaal plays a pivotal role as a Lecturer and Product Quality Control Manager at RealTime Audio. The company offers musicians an exceptional video and audio experience, along with music-related tools that enhance collaboration. Kamaal’s expertise in AI technology contributes to RealTime Audio’s unique use case in the music industry, employing AI for routing optimization, compression algorithms, and packet loss concealment functions to enable real-time jam sessions over the internet.

Committed to making a positive impact, Kamaal serves as the Vice Chairman of AMPED Kids, an organization dedicated to providing foster and adopted youth with free access to private music instruction and other music programs. By fostering relationships with donors, organizing fundraising events, collaborating with instrument manufacturers, and engaging with teachers, Kamaal contributes to empowering individuals through the transformative power of music.
