Climate Wayfinding is for people seeking clarity, courage, and community on their climate journeys. Through diverse modes of exploration, students look inward, outward, and forward to discern and enliven their unique contributions and develop key capacities for climate engagement. Topics include: emotions + motivations, solutions + accelerators, skills + superpowers, context + community + values, vision + compass +plan. Seats are limited, no experience necessary, lunch provided. Open to students, staff, faculty and community members.
Lessons in Biomimicry
Biomimicry looks to nature to draw inspiration to design, problem solve and create.
Join the Social Innovation team at the Wond’ry to learn what this concept is all about, frameworks to support the approach and how it’s implemented in varying contexts.The day long workshop will equip you with a fundamental understanding of the innovative way to problem solve and will include nature based interactive activities. No experience is required and all students, staff, faculty and community members are welcome, though seats are limited.If you enjoy approaching ideas with a new mindset , having lunch with a new group of people, and you like trees- this one is for you.
Systems-Led Leadership Workshop:
Exploring the Team/Individual PolarityThis interactive workshop guides you in navigating the balance between team dynamics and individual contributions. We will learn and apply frameworks to leverage both collective and individual strengths for innovation and effective leadership.Drawing from the principles of systems-led leadership and polarity management, we’ll explore how to cultivate a collaborative environment in which you are able to build on your skills while encouraging others in their own growth. Topics will include aligning individual passions with team goals, fostering shared ownership, and adapting to complex, ever-changing circumstances. We will provide opportunities to deepen your learning as you practice addressing your own contexts and challenges.Open to all, with no prior experience required. Lunch provided.
There are 30 spots available. The workshops are open to all participants, including Vanderbilt students, faculty, staff, local college students, community partners, etc.
