November SustainVU Newsletter Now Available!

In this month’s issue, we are excited to announce that Vanderbilt’s greenhouse gas emissions are now 19% less than in 2008! Wow! Since greenhouse gas emissions are directly tied to utility consumption and commuter behavior, a big pat on the back to everyone who is helping out by turning off lights and computers, moderating thermostats, and using mass transit to get back and forth to campus…we salute you! Good news…the holidays are just around the corner, so be sure to check out our Holiday Greening Guide for tips on making your holiday events more sustainable! Other exciting events going on this month include America Recycles Day on November 15, the last two home football games of the season, and the Vanderbilt Green Fund’s first application deadline.
