Events That Include Minors

  • Note that Vanderbilt students under the age of 18 are not considered minors for the purpose of event registration
  • Departmental events that include minors must be registered in the Protection of Minors Web Application under an approved program at least two (2) weeks prior to the event with all university youth program standards met, which includes personnel entered in the Web Application and in compliance
  • Student Organizations must be POM Approved (Level 1 or Level 2), registered in AnchorLink, and must meet the compliance requirement of the SOLS Office. Consult with your student org adviser for confirmation of roster compliance
  • Please see the Student Handbook for more information about student compliance with the POM Policy
  • Events that fall under the protection of minors policy are subject to compliance monitoring
