Vanderbilt caters to the experiences you desire, whether would like a private party, or simply an upscale buffet to share with your friends and family in between the commencement madness. All of these options are on-campus so you do not have to worry about getting parking spots, sitting in traffic, and making sure your entire party will arrive at the destination—let alone planning the party.
Private receptions are capstones to your newly graduated loved ones’ college life—an on-campus celebration. Your party can walk directly to your private room with a package including lunch, champagne and mimosas, tables, chairs, linens, and décor. Audio Visual options can be added to any package by calling our office. We can customize your reception so you do not have to worry about the planning making the beginning of post-grad life as unique as their experience here at Vanderbilt University, allowing you to enjoy the festivities with family and friends. The Private Commencement Receptions start at $60 per person and are available on May 8, 2015 beginning at 12:00 pm. Please contact us for more details, as the reservation deadline is April 17, 2015.
Our Commodore Ballroom Buffet Lunch in the Student Life Center is an upscale on-campus option offered for lunch. If you do not want to rent an entire room, the Commencement Lunch reservations are only $30 per person and include buffet lunch, champagne bar, and seating times to accommodate your busy schedule. You can choose to be seated at 12:30 pm, 1:00 pm, 1:30 pm, or 2:00 pm.
