Rev. Mark Forrester presented with Francis Ashbury Award
May. 30, 2018—On May 20th, Rev. Mark Forrester was presented with the Tennessee Annual Conference Board of Higher Education and Campus Ministry Francis Asbury Award, from the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry for the United Methodist Church. This award recognizes those who represent the highest values of the church in the context of collegiate ministry. It was presented to him in recognition of enduring service to the church on the college campus. To qualify, nominees must be active United Methodists or actively supporting United Methodistcollegiate ministry in an ecumenical setting. Additionally, such individuals offer outstanding leadership, above and beyond basic responsibilities, to help bring heightened awareness to the significance of the church’s higher education ministries.
