Greek Life 9/4 Updates
The Office of Greek Life’s Greek Fellows application is now open on Anchor Link and due September 7th!
The Office of Greek Life at Vanderbilt University invites applications for Greek Fellows. Any Vanderbilt University graduate students interested in student affairs, and any professional staff members interested in opportunities for involvement with the Office of Greek Life are welcome to apply, including those without Greek affiliation or previous experiences with Greek organizations.
Greek Fellows will have the opportunity to volunteer and be engaged with the Office of Greek Life in the following ways:
- Attend monthly Lunch & Learns with Greek students and staff, covering topics in the Vanderbilt and wider Greek community.
- Help with the coordination of Trick-or-Treat with Greeks & Athletes.
- Assist with Panhellenic recruitment in January 2019.
- Participate in Chancellor Heard Greek Awards judging review in March 2019.
- Assist with educational programming through our office by participating in or helping facilitate programs, including but not limited to Alcohol and Social Responsibility Training and potential for Greek Officer Leadership Series.
Anyone interested should submit an application if they are:
- Interested in Greek Life.
- Willing to learn about the Greek community at Vanderbilt.
- Comfortable facilitating and participating in dialogue.
- Able to dedicate at most 2-3 hours a month to the Greek Fellows Program.
Greek Fellows can expect the following benefits:
- Gain an awareness of emergent themes in the fraternal world.
- Develop a familiarity with Greek Life at Vanderbilt.
- Enhance their ability to facilitate student sessions.
- Network and build relationships with campus partners.
Interested participants should submit an application on Anchor Link by Friday September 7th at 11pm AND plan to attend an informational lunch session at 12pm on September 13th in Sarratt 325-327.
