Project Safe July 2 Update

Posted by on Thursday, June 28, 2018 in DOS News.

Project Safe is proud to announce that Sarah Jordan Welch is now the Dean of Students Wellness Commodore!

As a Wellness Commodore, Sarah Jordan will play an important role in creating a culture of wellness at Vanderbilt by promoting Health Plus programs, leading activities for the Dean of Students Division, and acting as a liaison between the department and Health Plus to provide feedback, thoughts, or ideas to help improve existing programs.

Sarah Jordan will be working with DOS offices to provide mindfulness breaks, walking or movement opportunities for staff of all abilities, celebrating different monthly awareness events, and provide information about existing Health Plus programs you may not even know about!  Be on the lookout for Sarah Jordan with her visor and clipboard!  Invite her to visit your team during a meeting, or reach out to her directly to brainstorm what would work best for your office.
