New Assistant Director of Training & Communications

Anna Thomas joins the Dean of Students team as Assistant Director of Training & Communications. In her new role, she will be coordinating staff professional development, overseeing the Graduate Assistantship program, and supporting communication efforts for the division. Previous to joining DOS, Anna served as the Director of Parents & Family Programs at Vanderbilt. She has a M.Ed. in Human Development Counseling and an Ed.D. in Education Leadership and Policy from Peabody College. Anna lives in Brentwood with her spouse, Joe, and their two children, Sadie and Bowen. She enjoys yoga, cooking, and reading.
