Vanderbilt Awards for Leadership Excellence

This year, Student Leadership Development and Student Organizations have transitioned what was formerly known as the Magnolia Awards into the Vanderbilt Awards for Leadership Excellence (VALE). The mission of VALE is to celebrate the work of student leaders and organizations that strengthens and fosters a diverse and transformative Vanderbilt community. These awards also recognize efforts that encourage members of this community to engage in a life-long pursuit of excellence in personal and social development.

Like last year, the awards will recognize the leadership efforts of both individuals and student organizations. A committee representing the various individual awards will select the Individual Award recipients, and the staff of Student Leadership Development and Student Organizations will select the Student Organization Award recipients.

All applications will open on January 9^th, and the ceremony will be held on April 5^th (SAVE THE DATE!) We are excited for this new and revamped student recognition experience, and we hope you will join us in celebrating our fantastic student leaders! More info will be forthcoming.
