Posted by on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 in News Blurbs.

We are excited to announce that Roberta Robison (pronouns: they/them) will join to LGBTQI life team as program coordinator beginning Dec. 1st. Roberta holds a Master of Theological Studies in Religion, Ethics and Politics from Harvard Divinity School (HDS).  They also served as a graduate assistant in the Office of Student life within HDS.

At Harvard, Roberta held leadership positions in the Queer Rites student group the Women of Color collective. Since graduating and moving to Nashville this past summer, Roberta has served as the Social Media Director for the Religious Literacy Project, working to further the organization’s mission to enhance and promote the public understanding of religion. Roberta has also worked as a teaching assistant for courses at HDS addressing the intersections and margins of identity and religion, and has also served as an American Sign Language instructor. We are so excited to welcome Roberta to the team, where their primary responsibilities will be training, education, and outreach. Liv Parks (pronouns: they/them) will continue their excellent work coordinating the majority of our programming and student leadership initiatives.

Please consider stopping by our annual Home for the Holidays event, this Friday, December 2nd from 1-3pm to meet Roberta. img_6711
