Nominate a Student for Next Gen 2017

Do any of the undergraduate or graduate students you work with have an interest in student affairs or higher education?  If so, ACPA’s 2017 Next Generation Conference (Next Gen) may be a great experience!

Next Gen will occur in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday and Sunday, March 25-26, 2017 immediately before the ACPA 2017 General Convention.

Next Gen is a unique opportunity for approximately 100 undergraduate, graduate and early career professionals from across the nation to learn about careers in student affairs. This conference is an opportunity for the next generation of Student Affairs educators to meet and learn from current graduate preparation program faculty, Next Gen alumni, and seasoned student affairs professionals who work across the country at diverse institutional types in a variety of positions.

There are many scholarships available through ACPA to cover the cost of attendance (typically 100 students are sponsored in some way), and Columbus, is an easily accessible city this year!  If you have any questions about the process, please reach out to Laura Walaszek Dermody (laura.a.walaszek@vanderbilt.edu) as she is part of the Next Gen planning team.
