Diverse ‘Dores Day 2016 & Volunteer Opportunity

Posted by on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 in News Blurbs.

We’re hosting Diverse ‘Dores Day 2016 on Wednesday, Sept. 7 from 3- 6 p.m. It’s an opportunity for folks to visit 8 identity spaces on campus, meet the staff, get free food, and learn more about the services/programs each space has to offer marginalized folks and their allies. Folks who fill their map with stamps from all 8 spaces can then screen print their own #diversedores t-shirt in the Sarratt Student Center Gallery.

Want to volunteer for Diverse ‘Dores Day 2016?

We need help from at least 20 people!

Volunteers will get a free t-shirt after signing up for one of the two shifts and will be placed in either an identity center or on a directional path to guide folks to each space. Sign up by Wednesday, August 31 in order to secure your spot and t-shirt.
