The Office of Conferences re-certified as a One Stop Shop Conference Office
In December, The Office of Conferences was re-certified as a One Stop Shop conference office by the Association of Collegiate Conference and Event Directors – International (ACCED-I). Designation as a One Stop Shop indicates that the Office of Conferences follows industry best practices and provides one contact, one contract, and one bill for all the services clients need.
The designation is a signal honor. Among the top 20 ranked research universities, only Vanderbilt, Yale, and the University of Chicago share the designation. In the SEC, only Vanderbilt, the University of South Carolina, and the University of Tennessee – Knoxville share the designation.
