New Coordinator for Office of Wellness Programs and Alcohol Education

Jason Steinas is extremely excited to return to Vanderbilt to work for Office of Wellness Programs and Alcohol Education as Coordinator of Wellness Programs. Jason has years of experience in higher education and non-profit administration at a variety of institutions such as Vanderbilt University and St. John’s University. His work and studies have focused on student wellness, training, staff supervision, student engagement, and diversity affairs.

Jason earned a Master of Science in College Student Personnel Administration from Canisius College and a Bachelor of Science in Adolescence Education and History from the State University of New York College at Cortland. He serves as a mentor for a group of Posse Foundation, Inc. students at Vanderbilt University and engages with the local community via volunteer efforts and consulting work. One of his most recent and exciting professional achievements is having co-authored a monograph that was published in the textbook, Building Synergy for High-Impact Educational Initiatives.
