Posted by on Friday, December 11, 2015 in archives.

Jennifer hails from Park City, Utah and grew up skiing and snowboarding.  At age nineteen she was scouted to work in the fashion industry, travelled extensively, and spent six years living between Italy and Spain where she became fluent in Spanish and Italian.  During her time abroad, she developed her interests for fashion, food and nutrition.

After settling back in the United States, she resided in the San Francisco Bay area. She promptly met and married her drummer husband, had two beautiful children and moved to Nashville in 2007, where she freelanced as a translator and interpreter, throwing in some additional work as a hair and makeup artist, all the while volunteering and coordinating programs in her children’s elementary, middle, and high schools.

Jennifer previously worked for 2.5 years in the Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Pediatric Speech department as a Patient Services Representative I.  In June of 2015, she was promoted to the position of PSR II where she managed the front desk providing office and clinic support, performing patient scheduling and check in, among many other responsibilities. Being trilingual, gives her the ability to connect with people and their families putting them at ease in what can sometimes be a scary visit to “the doctor”. She has a deep love of people and culture and is passionate about cooking, yoga, long bike rides with her family, and rollerskating.  She is very excited to be joining the team here in the Dean of Students in the Office of Wellness Programs and Alcohol Education.  Come on by and say hello!
