OACS Spotlight Series
OACS hosted their first Spotlight Series Wednesday, November 18th and it was a great success! Code Ignite was the first student group to be featured in this series and they gave a very informative presentation. Code Ignite is a new tech service student organization seeking to better the Nashville community through a variety of technology-based initiatives. Code Ignite encourages Nashville youth to fall in love with computer science during afterschool programs, creates apps for non-profit organizations, and works to promote tech literacy amongst the elderly. OACS will be hosting student organizations twice a semester to get the word out about the great work they provide in our community. Be on the lookout for our next Spotlight session!
