Erika Larson Presenting at CIES Conference
Erika Larson’s presentation proposal at the 60th Annual Conference of the Comparative and International Education Society (CIES) has been accepted. The conference is titled “Global service-learning: responsibility to adhere to ethics while achieving learning outcomes” and Erika’s presentation will be on current best practices in global service-learning while exposing the negative implications that global service-learning may have on host communities around the world. Higher education practitioners and faculty will benefit from an overview of global service-learning in 2016 by analyzing the achievements and failures in an effort to improve dedication to ethical engagement with host communities.
