Courage Unmasked TN 2015 Exhibition continues through November 20, 2015
Don’t miss your chance to see the profound creations of 6 local artists whose experiences with head and neck cancer begat works of art. Their radiation masks have been repurposed to express hope, spirituality, and strength. This year’s masks were created by DOS’s very own Sara Bickell and Cindy Young, Teresa Gray from VU Library Special Collections, Jennifer Wilkins from VU Medical Center and from the Nashville Community Diane Sesler. Proceeds from the sale of masks goes to the Caring Hearts Fund at the Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center to provide financial support to cancer patients undergoing treatment.
Please visit the Sarratt Art Gallery in the main lobby of the Sarratt Student Center, 9am – 9pm, 7 days a week. This event is free and open to the public.
