On May 10, 2013, the Women’s Center will say goodbye to director Nora Spencer after five years of service to Vanderbilt. Nora was the first director of LGBTQI Life and the K.C. Potter Center, part of the Dean of Students office. In 2009 her responsibility grew to include the Margaret Cuninggim Women’s Center. Nora will leave Vanderbilt to become the Director of External Relations for Planned Parenthood of the Southeast, headquartered in Atlanta; in this role she will oversee education, communications, and marketing for Georgia, Mississippi, and Alabama.

Nora will be on campus through commencement. There will be a drop-by get-together on Monday, May 6th, from 3:30-5pm on the MCWC and K.C. Potter Center Patio. Everyone is welcome!
