Welcome to DOS Matt Sinclair!
Matthew Sinclair moved to Vanderbilt from Statesville, North Carolina after completing his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Education Studies. He served as a resident advisor during his junior and senior year at Guilford College, and as a Head Resident Advisor during his senior year. His experience in these capacities had such an impact on his personal development and growth that he altered my career focus from Child Psychology to Residential Education. He has been a member of the Vanderbilt community for one and one-half years as a Graduate Assistant and is very excited and eager to begin participating as a full-time staff member.
Personally, he enjoys physical activity, such as golf and baseball, as well as farming and wood working. He is also staying busy with wedding planning with the big event occurring this May! He would like to thank everyone for the warm welcome that he has received, both when he first arrived in August 2011 and recently with his appointment as the Area Coordinator for the Carmichael Towers. He looks forward to getting to know everyone better in the coming weeks, and if you ever need assistance building a cabinet or barn, please feel free to ask!
