Thanks to everyone for their continued support of the Anchor Link initiative. Please register your spring events in the system as soon as possible. Student organizations, DOS offices, and departments throughout campus are beginning to look at the Anchor Link calendar when planning events to avoid potential programming conflicts. By registering your events in advance, you help increase your attendance by ensuring that other groups do not schedule overlapping programs and by advertising your program to the thousand users who visit the site each day.

We are excited to announce the launch of the new Co-Curriculums program through Anchor Link. The Anchor Link Co-Curriculum program connects event participation with co-curricular learning and automates the tracking of a student’s progress across involvement programs or tracks. When a user swipes into a Dore Rewards event, their progress will automatically be tracked in the My Co-Curriculums dashboard of their Anchor Link home page. Additionally, all Co-Curriculum requirements, eligible events, and a user’s progress report are accessible on each user’s map page.

VPB’s Dore Rewards, which awards prizes to students who attend VPB events, is one of our pilot Co-Curriculums this spring. The Dore Rewards Co-Curriculum is open to all students and is now accessible for you to see on your Anchor Link homepage. Visit your homepage to learn more and begin brainstorming ways your office may be interested in using Co-Curriculums to manage your programs next year.

Please join us for the first installment of our new Anchor Link Lunch and Learn series in which staff members and students are invited to bring their lunch and learn in depth about various Anchor Link features. This month’s program will take place on Wednesday, January 23rd from 12:10-1:00pm in Sarratt 325/327 and the topics will be Forms, Elections, & Polls. Click here to sign up.
