MLK Day Observance

On Monday, January 21, the Vanderbilt community will be commemorating the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday with a day of service and remembrance. Dean of Students staff members are encouraged to attend as many events as their schedule allows. There are many events throughout the day including:

A keynote address by Michelle Alexander

A weekend of service sponsored by OACS

Participation in the Nashville Freedom March

Teach-Ins

Art exhibits

And much more!
